Taking on high-stakes matters and delivering client wins. In 2024, Hicks Johnson built on its impressive track record of handling and trying our clients’ most significant matters. The firm handled cases and arbitrations in Texas and across the country, including in California, Illinois, New York, and Washington State; we recorded trial wins, recovered over $500 million for our clients, and handled significant appeals that involved novel and important legal issues.

Promoting rising stars and expanding our team: Hicks Johnson has grown into a 20+ lawyer commercial litigation boutique with national and international reach. On January 1, 2025, we were pleased to promote Lori Arakaki and Daniel Scime to partnership.

Investing in additional growth in Chicago and Houston. This year, we proudly expanded our footprint by opening a Chicago office and signed a lease for new office space in Houston, enhancing our ability to grow and better serve our clients.
