Allison focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, including trial and appeals. Prior to joining Hicks Johnson, Allison was an attorney in the Office of the General Counsel-Appellate Group of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In that role, she served as the lead attorney representing the SEC in numerous appellate cases across the First, Second, Eighth, Ninth, and D.C. Circuit Courts, and assisted the Solicitor General’s office with Supreme Court briefing in cases implicating the SEC. Allison draws on this experience to advise and represent clients in trial and appellate proceedings involving significant legal issues and high commercial stakes.
Earlier in her career, Allison served as a law clerk to the Honorable William Conley of the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
