Corbin focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. A former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Indiana and the Western District of Oklahoma, Corbin draws on his significant experience as a trial lawyer in federal court to advise clients across energy, construction, and technology who are facing bet-the-company litigation. Corbin also maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented individuals and advocacy organizations in civil rights actions.

Prior to his government work, Corbin was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable David J. Hale of the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

Notable Experience

  • Assisted in representing a global manufacturing company in a trade secrets dispute against a former employee and industry rival, ultimately obtaining an advantageous settlement on behalf of the client.*
  • Assisted in representing a large healthcare holding company against claims asserted by certain unsecured creditors during the company’s bankruptcy proceedings, ultimately obtaining a favorable settlement on behalf of the client.*
  • Assisted in representing a global pharmaceutical company in a United States Department of Justice investigation alleging violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act.*
  • Helped obtain a favorable settlement on behalf of a former CEO and board chairman of a for-profit education institution in a series of consumer arbitrations alleging breach of contract and tortious conduct.*
  • Helped obtain a favorable settlement on behalf of the independent directors of an American multimedia conglomerate in a shareholder action alleging, among other things, breach of fiduciary duty.*
  • Helped obtain summary judgment on behalf of a global investment bank in a dispute alleging that the bank had aided and abetted a Ponzi scheme involving approximately $150 million in losses.*
