Dave’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation at the trial level. His experience lies primarily in mass tort, products liability, business torts, and LLC member conflicts and buyouts. Dave is known for his meticulous preparation, strong case management skills, and ability to combine incisive legal analysis with pragmatic, commercially minded guidance. Whether negotiating a settlement or litigating in court, he strives above all to preserve his clients’ business relationships and protect their interests.

Before joining the firm, Dave served as a law clerk to the Honorable Timothy M. Tymkovich of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the Honorable Jeffrey V. Brown of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Galveston Division. Before law school, he served eight years as an infantry officer in the United States Army.

Notable Experience

  • Successfully represented a 50% owner of a chemical service company in a dispute with a co-owner and the board of managers over several alleged breaches of fiduciary duties, resulting in a favorable settlement for his client.
