Robert represents clients in complex commercial disputes, with experience spanning energy, construction, antitrust, and tort matters. His recent work includes breach of contract cases in the energy sector, construction arbitration, and defense in complex tort litigation. He has also litigated large antitrust, securities, bankruptcy, environmental, and civil rights matters in state and federal courts across the country, and authored amicus briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Clients value Robert’s clear, persuasive writing and strategic approach to intricate legal and factual issues. Before joining the firm, he practiced at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in New York, focusing on securities class actions and antitrust litigation, and served for two years as a staff attorney with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid. He began his career clerking for Justice Allison H. Eid on the Colorado Supreme Court.
