We are committed to creating a firm culture that inspires diverse professionals to produce their best work. We’re proud that more than one-third of our senior lawyers are women, far exceeding the Houston average of 19 percent (NALP) and the nationwide average of 22 percent (ABA). To formalize our support of gender equity within the legal profession, we have signed the Houston Bar Association’s Gender Fairness Commitment Statement, which asks law firms to implement concrete policies and practices that interrupt bias and promote gender diversity at all levels. Our team also includes members of the LGBTQ community and people from a broad range of underrepresented backgrounds.

As part of our dedication to increasing diversity within the industry, we offer three-week-long summer fellowships to 1Ls from historically excluded backgrounds. The fellowship includes a $10,000 stipend as well as lodging in Houston.
