We are committed to creating a firm culture that inspires everyone to produce their best work. We’re proud that 40 percent of our senior lawyers are women, far exceeding the Houston and nationwide averages. To formalize our support of gender equity within the legal profession, we have signed the Houston Bar Association’s Gender Fairness Commitment Statement, which asks law firms to implement concrete policies and practices that interrupt bias and promote gender diversity at all levels. Our team also includes members of the LGBTQ+ community and people from a broad range of underrepresented backgrounds.

As part of our commitment to fostering diversity in the legal profession, we offer a three-week Diversity Fellowship Program for 1L students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing diversity within the industry. Fellows receive a stipend along with complimentary lodging in Houston for the duration of the program.

The firm is inclusive with all types of diversity initiatives. They have a diversity fellow program for first-years and offer one of the longest parental leave programs in the industry.
