Hicks Johnson Relocates Houston Office to Accommodate Continued Strategic Growth

Capping off a period of exceptional growth and market recognition, Hicks Johnson has moved its Houston team to a new 21,000-square-foot space located at 1550 Lamar Street. The recently completed office tower is in the heart of downtown and adjacent to Discovery Green, one of Houston’s signature urban parks.
Developed by global construction leader Skanska, the building features a striking modern design by world-renowned architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group. Recognized as one of Houston’s most sustainable, and healthiest, office buildings, it sets a new standard with side-core design and expansive floor plates, and has achieved certifications including LEED® Platinum V4, WELL Building Standard, and a FitWel® 3-Star rating. Award-winning Kirksey Architecture designed the new Hicks Johnson office, which showcases sweeping views of the city. The expanded footprint will accommodate the firm’s growing team.
“We are delighted to have moved to this exceptional office space as the new home for our firm. The strategic location and modern facilities reflect our commitment to providing top-tier service to our clients, while also fostering a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere for our team. This move represents our continued growth and dedication to advancing our firm’s mission and goals,” said Andy Hicks, managing partner of Hicks Johnson PLLC.
The move is just the latest in a series of milestone achievements for the firm. In early September, Lawdragon named Andy and Partner Logan Johnson to its 500 Leading Litigators in America list, and Law360 named Hicks Johnson a 2025 Texas Regional Powerhouse. The Regional Powerhouses recognition honors firms with a strong regional focus that take on and win high-profile cases and make a lasting impact on their practice area. Earlier in the summer, Chambers and Partners once again ranked Hicks Johnson for Litigation: General Commercial, Texas: Houston & Surrounds. The firm has advanced two bands in this practice-area category since 2022. Andy and Logan were also ranked among the top lawyers in this market.
The firm’s bench strength continues to be a key driver of success on behalf of clients — and growth. In August, Hicks Johnson welcomed Partner Andrew Gould to lead the firm’s growing Appellate team. Gould brings a stellar track record of success as an experienced appellate advocate and will helm the group as it responds to increased client demand for representation on complex appeals. He joins Hicks Johnson from a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ firm, where he founded and led the firm’s appellate practice, and his prior experience includes serving as an award-winning federal appellate prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas and practicing complex commercial litigation at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Washington, D.C.
In June, Hicks Johnson expanded its geographic reach to meet market needs by launching its Chicago office, and added two new senior counsel, Jordan V. Hill and Corbin Houston, to its roster of top-notch legal talent.
Alongside the arrival of these senior team members, Hicks Johnson remains committed to developing the next generation of trial lawyers. In October, the firm will welcome Georgetown University Law Center graduate Oliwia Lukacz and University of Virginia Law School graduates Ella Endorf and Austin Fuller as new associates in the Houston office.
“Our investment in recruiting and developing top-tier talent has led to tremendous outcomes in the courtroom and at the negotiating table,” Johnson said. “As a result, more clients than ever are choosing our firm to handle their toughest, most complex disputes.”
Given the firm’s full docket of ongoing high-stakes litigation for clients including the City of Houston, Collins Aerospace, Engelhart Commodities Trading Partners, FL Crane & Sons and many others, Hicks Johnson is on track to round out an exceptional year.
