Hicks Johnson Debuts Refreshed Brand Design, Capping Off Landmark Year

Hicks Johnson PLLC recently unveiled a bold new brand design capturing the firm’s reputation as a premier trial and appellate boutique serving clients nationwide. This updated visual identity embodies the energy, sophistication, and client-first approach that have defined Hicks Johnson’s remarkable trajectory over the past year.

The new brand incorporates a logomark forming a unified and contemporary identity. The logomark is inspired by a guiding star, a timeless symbol of leadership and dynamism. The new symbol expresses progress and forward thinking as well as a balance of determination and guidance in a simple, recognizable way.

“We are thrilled to introduce our refreshed Hicks Johnson brand design,” Partner Andy Hicks said. “This new look honors the legacy that built our firm while demonstrating how our team and capabilities have evolved to better serve our clients.”

The past year has marked a period of significant momentum for Hicks Johnson. The firm has continued building its award-winning team, expanded its geographic footprint, and celebrated industry accolades that have elevated the firm’s visibility.

Bench strength continues to drive Hicks Johnson’s success on behalf of clients. In August, Partner Andrew Gould joined to lead the firm’s growing Appellate team. Andrew brings a stellar track record of success as an experienced appellate advocate and now helms the practice as it responds to increased client demand for representation on complex appeals. Hicks Johnson also added two new Senior Counsel this year: former Assistant United States Attorney Corbin Houston and experienced commercial litigator Jordan V. Hill.

“By investing in top legal talent and fostering their growth, we’ve built a team delivering exceptional outcomes on our clients’ most critical matters,” Partner Logan Johnson said. “That reputation is driving unprecedented demand for our services.”

To accommodate its growth, the firm has also expanded its geographic footprint. In September, Hicks Johnson moved its Houston team to a new 21,000-square-foot space located at 1550 Lamar Street. The recently completed office tower, developed by global construction leader Skanska and designed by world-renowned architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group, is in the heart of downtown and adjacent to Discovery Green, one of Houston’s signature urban parks. In addition, the firm launched its Chicago office in June.

The legal industry has taken note of Hicks Johnson’s growing market dominance. Law360 named the firm a 2025 Texas Regional Powerhouse — and profiled it in a feature article — and Benchmark Litigation recognized eight Hicks Johnson partners in its 2026 rankings (seven partners in Texas and one partner in Illinois). The firm, as well as Andy Hicks and Logan Johnson, were selected for Legal 500’s inaugural US City Elite ranking for Houston, and Andy and Logan were named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America list. Earlier in the summer, Chambers and Partners once again ranked the firm for Litigation: General Commercial, Texas: Houston & Surrounds. Andy and Logan were also ranked among the top lawyers in this market.

With a refreshed, client-centered brand, a growing team, and a full docket of ongoing high-stakes litigation, Hicks Johnson is poised to round out a transformative year.
